Education
(1)From 1978 to 1982, Professor Quan’an Ha studied at the school of history in Peking University and obtained his undergraduate degree.
(2)From 1983 to 1986, ProfessorQuan’an Ha studied at the school of history in Northeast Normal University and obtained his master's degree.
(3)From 1988 to 1991, Professor Quan’an Ha studied at the school of history in Northeast Normal University and obtained his doctoral degree.

Main Viewpoint
Professor Ha has studied the history of the Middle East since the birth of Islam more than thirty years. He has unique insights and makes deep interpretations concerning the origin of Islam, Arabian feudalism, modernization theory of the Middle East, the polity during the process of modernization in the Middle East (suchas secular politics and religious politics, party politics and electoral politics, elite politics and popular politics, parliamentarism and street politics, consanguinity politics and geopolitics), modern Islamism, and so on.

The History of the Middle East written by him alone is selected into Annual Report of China’s Highly Cited Books (2010-2014), and awarded TOP ONE of world history discipline, which is the only domestic original work of world history discipline.
