Recently,Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Evaluation Studies officially published the "2022 Report on the AMI Comprehensive Evaluation of Chinese Humanities and Social Science Journals", andEconomic and Social History Reviewwas selected as a core journal in the history discipline.Economic and Social History Reviewis an academic journal with a focus on economic and social history. Over the years, under the strong support ofTianjin Normaluniversity, Professor Hou Jianxin,editor-in-chief,has led the editorial team to work together, set high standards and strict requirements, and continuously improved the quality and academic influence of the journal.

In 2019,Economic and Social History Reviewwaslisted in theChinese Social Sciences Citation Index(CSSCI,Expanded Edition), in 2021 it waslisted inCSSCI, and in 2022 it was selected as a core journal for the AMI. It has also been listed as an "Important Source Journal for China Social Science Excellence" and has been awarded the title of "Most Popular Journal" of National Center for Philosophy and Social Sciences Documentation.

This report isthe first large-scale evaluation project launched by theChinese Academy of Social Sciences Evaluation Studies after its establishment in 2014.Itis conducted once every four years and hasauthority and influence.
