Chinese National Office for Philosophy and Social Sciences recently announced the list of Academic Translation of Chinese Research Project. Professor Hou Jianxin’s masterpiece Peasant, Market, and Social Change——Perspective of Eleven Villages in the Central Hebei of China and its Comparison with British Countryside was listed among them.

Perspective of Eleven Villages in the Central Hebei of China and its Comparison with British Countryside was published in October, 2002 by Social Sciences Academic Press, which won the first prize of the Ninth Tianjin Outstanding Achievement in Social Science.
