Abstract

Connecting Asia and Europe and located in the overlapping area between the Mediterranean civilization circle and the Islamic civilization circle, Turkey has the dual traditions of the Western civilization and the Eastern civilization, so does its geopolitics. The civilizational tradition can be regarded as the historical cornerstone of Turkey's geopolitical trend, while maximizing national interests is its key factor. With the changes of the times, Turkey's geopolitical stance is swinging between the West and the East, and its diplomatic strategy is characterized by striking uncertainty.
