July 19, 2022

Abstract:

In the 1970 s, as the main content of the new social history, the history of everyday life began to rise in the West. The from-bottom-to-up conception of history and the historical writing on people's everyday life were gradually accepted by the historians in Europe and the United States. In the process of development of the history of everyday life in the West, that both the study on its period and aspects have been expanded, and its content has been deepened, has promoted domestic and foreign scholars to pay more attention to the everyday life in contemporary China. Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, the everyday life of the people has also become an important part of the narrative of the history of contemporary Chinese. The current researches on the history of everyday life of contemporary China have made great achievements in the aspects of space-time expansion, narrative paradigm, data collection and research object, but there are still some shortcomings, such as discussing the things itself, quoting out of context, dull topic, which are the problems to be faced in further research.
