Presentation of the results:

The Study of Rural Communities in the Late Middle Ages of Englandand a series of papers, regarding the rural world in England in the late Middle Ages as a community of manor-village communities, broke through the perspective of the manor system only. From the perspective of the relationship between the lord and the serf, this paper studies the original frame of the social history at that time, and fully demonstrates the important role of the village community tradition in the community. Therefore, the comprehensive and three-dimensional revealing the complex characteristics of the community with the manor and the village community and the parish; From the aspects of law, economy, social life, daily administration and other aspects, it shows the local autonomy and popular autonomy that are increasingly manifested in the rural society of England in the late Middle Ages, and analyzes the legal basis of its autonomy.Such as the customary practices of the village community, manor regulations, etc., thus excavating the deep soil of the British "home of local autonomy."

Several Chinese historical papers written from the perspective of historical comparison between China and the West mainly analyze the despotism of rural social management in ancient Chinese society, the formation of slavery and the loss of consciousness and ability of right participation under the conditions of rural education and family education. The traditional rural social management system enumerates the so-called clanautonomy, Li - Jia autonomy, local rules and regulations autonomy, and so on.This so-called "non-official" governance actually play an importantrole in supporting official governance. It makes up for the deficiency of the ability of official governance to go deep into the countryside, and its idea, value pursuit and goal are completely consistent with the rule of the state. The articles about the social pattern under the patriarchal ethics, humanizationand education analyze the patriarchal ethical basis of the upper and lower ranks of the ancient Chinese rural social relations. That is to say, all relationsand affairs are handled on the basis of patriarchal ethical order. The participation rights of the people and the legal sources of rights maintenance do not exist, so they can not form local self-government and people's self-government.
